Custom API Call
Call any Zoom REST API endpoint the actions above do not cover, using the same connection.
Triggers
Start a workflow automatically when:
- A new meeting is scheduled
- A new cloud recording becomes available
Both triggers poll the Zoom API on a schedule. ScopieFlows does not receive Zoom webhooks and does not join, record or process meeting media.
Adding the app
- Sign in to ScopieFlows and open ScopieFlows → Connections.
- Select New Connection and search for Zoom.
- Give the connection a name — this is how you will identify it when building a workflow. If your team connects more than one Zoom account, name them distinctly.
- Select Connect. A Zoom window opens.
- Sign in to Zoom if prompted, review the permissions, and select Allow.
- The window closes and the connection shows as Active. Select Save.
You are authorising your own Zoom account. ScopieFlows acts only on that account, and only within the permissions shown on the Zoom consent screen.
Using the app
- Open or create a flow and add a step.
- Choose Zoom, then pick an action — for example Create Meeting.
- Select the Zoom connection you created.
- Fill in the fields for that action, using values from earlier steps where you need them.
- Test the step, then publish the flow.
Example. When a new row is added to your CRM, create a Zoom meeting, then send the join link to the customer by email. Three steps: a CRM trigger, the Zoom Create Meeting action, and an email action using the meeting’s join_url.
Removing the app
You can disconnect from either side. Doing both is the cleanest.
In ScopieFlows
- Open ScopieFlows → Connections.
- Find your Zoom connection and select the delete icon.
- Confirm. The stored Zoom tokens are deleted. Any flow still using that connection will stop working, so update or pause those flows first.
In Zoom
- Sign in at marketplace.zoom.us.
- Go to Manage → Added Apps, or search for the app by name.
- Select the app, then Remove.
Removing the app in Zoom revokes ScopieFlows’ access to your account immediately.
Requirements and limits
- A Zoom account you can sign in to. Each person connects their own account.
- Webinar actions require a Zoom plan that includes webinars. Without the add-on, Zoom returns a “no permission” error regardless of the permissions granted.
- Permissions take effect at the moment you authorise. If permissions change, reconnect the connection for the change to apply.
